Oxford Research on Pohjoismainen konsulttiyhtiö, jonka erikoisalaa ovat alueiden ja elinkeinoelämän kehittäminen sekä hyvinvointisektorin laajamittainen edistäminen. Olemme johtavia klustereiden asiantuntijoita
Suomessa on lukuisia klustereita tai klusterihankkeita. Mutta monessako klusterihankkeessa toimijat ymmärtävät oman roolinsa? Miksi klusteritoiminta ylipäätään kannattaa? Green growth
The project is to clarify market priorities for Nordic companies outside the EEA, as well as mapping barriers for trading green products and services. Green growth is high on the European and Nordic agenda, and throughout the Danish EU Presidency in the first half of 2012 the Council and the Commission has analyzed different avenues for a free trade agreement for climate-friendly products.
Oxford Research's role will be to identify the priorities in the industry and identify barriers to trade in relevant markets. Nordic Innovation requests a study focusing on the Nordic green tech industries, and the results from this study will be forwarded to the European Commission and to the EFTA secretariat.

Who is working after retirement? In which sectors, occupations, education levels, countries and genders is it common to have a paid work after retirement? Oxford Research is looking into these questions, assigned by Eurofound. We are doing a policy context description, a statistical overview and in the three countries Austria, Poland and Spain, case studies to shed light on the issue of income after retirement. Perhaps the most important purpose of the project is however to discuss the concept and definition of income after retirement.
In July a workshop in Brussels was arranged, where we presented the project for a number of prominent researchers, experts and stakeholders. The final report will be launched in time for the 2012 European Year of Active Ageing.

Final presentation
On Friday, 20 January 2012 in Brussels, Oxford Research is going to present results of the study to a group of high level technology experts and policy planners from different Member States as well as Commission officials.
The study aims at assessing the links and relevance of current Framework Programme activities under the priority 'Nanotechnologies and nanosciences, knowledge-based multifunctional materials and new production processes and devices' (NMP), to tackle grand societal challenges. The findings of this study will be used for planning future European Commission programmes in the field of Industrial technologies especially in the context of Horizon 2020 implementation.
